Your account email is where sign-in confirmations, password resets and important notices are sent. You can change it from your profile.
Where to change it
- Open Dashboard → Profile.
- Find the Email field and click Change.
- Enter the new address and confirm the change.
The new address must be unused
If another account already uses the address — including an account that was deleted recently and is still inside its 14-day recovery period — the change is blocked and we'll show you how many days are left before the address frees up. Pick a different address or wait until the recovery window ends (see Delete your account).
After the change
- Sign in with the new address and your password.
- Password resets and verification emails go to the new address.
- Google and GitHub users keep signing in through the provider — the change doesn't affect linked accounts (see How linked sign-in methods work).
