Microdegrees: structured multi-course programs

By TechExpo TeamOctober 7, 20260 views

A microdegree bundles several courses into one guided program — a fixed set of levels you work through instead of picking courses one by one.

Browse programs

  • Open /microdegrees to see every published program.
  • Each program shows how many courses and hours it contains and how many learners are enrolled.
  • Open a program to see its Program Courses list: level number, title, hours, difficulty, and a Required tag on courses you must take.
  • Programs may show Sequential (finish courses in order) and Per-course certs badges when those options are enabled.

Enroll

  • Click Enroll in Program on the program page. This enrolls you in the program and in its included free courses in one step.
  • If a program includes a paid course, that course still needs its own checkout — see How to pay for a course with InstaPay or Vodafone Cash.
  • Once enrolled, the button becomes Continue Learning and takes you to My Learning; the program page shows an In Progress (or Completed) chip.

Progress and completion

Work through each course the same way as any other course (Take a course: lessons, progress & completion). As courses finish, the program tracks them collectively — completed courses get a checkmark in the list. Finishing the program's courses marks it Completed and triggers the platform's completion awards (points and, where configured, a certificate).
