Where to manage it
Open Settings → Subscription (the same panel is inside Dashboard → Settings → Subscription). It shows your plan, the current status, when the paid period ends, whether auto-renew is on, and a timeline of what happened to the membership.
The statuses you may see
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active | You have access to everything your plan covers. |
| Grace | The paid period has ended but your 7-day grace window is still open — access continues. |
| Paused | You paused the membership. Access is off until you resume. |
| Cancelled | The membership is closed. Nothing renews. |
| Expired | The grace window closed without a renewal. |
Cancel
You choose when the cancellation takes effect:
- Cancel at the end of the period — nothing renews, and you keep full access until the date you already paid for.
- Cancel immediately — access stops right away.
Either way the membership timeline records the request, and you get a confirmation email.
Pause
Pause switches access off while keeping your membership open, and resume switches it back on. Pausing does not extend the end date of the period you already paid for — it is a break, not a credit.
Switch to another plan
You can hold one membership at a time, so switching means cancelling the current plan and starting the new one. We do not prorate the difference — the new plan starts with its own period. If you are moving up because you want Labs content, subscribe to the new plan first so your access is never interrupted.
