Privacy settings: control what your public profile shows

By TechExpo TeamOctober 7, 20260 views

Your dashboard profile has a public URL you can share — the privacy settings decide what that page (and others) can see.

Where to find it

Open Dashboard → Settings → Privacy (or go directly to /settings/privacy). The card is titled Privacy Settings — Control what others can see on your public profile.

The three switches

SettingDefaultWhat it controls
Public ProfileVisibleAllow others to view your public profile page (your /u/username URL).
Show CredentialsShownDisplay your speaker credentials and certificates.
Show ActivityHiddenDisplay your recent activity and achievements.

Toggle each one, then click Save Changes — you will see "Privacy settings saved successfully!".

Good to know

When you hide your profile, your public URL stops being accessible. Your credentials and certificates still exist in your account and can be shared individually (see Where to find and download your certificates).
